CO2 reactor for FW Planted

Anyone got one. It was the one with canister that sits on the tank.

What my friend did was to route the CO2 back into the canister filter. He said, "the CO2 dissolved much more than before and the CO2 seems not bothering the bio-filter. In the old days, some canister filter will trap air but so far over 1 to 2 months, he has report no issue at all. He is using a standard green eheim.
