Well I feel bad for all the yankee fans out there for their loss however, now the other half of my dream needs to come to fruition now the mets need to lose so I can have peace at work.

And yes once that happens I will feel bad for the mets fans but I will be happy for me at the same time.

Russ i feel the same way you do. I get alot of heat for going for yankees when the mets don't make it, i don't give a "F". I'm a diehard New Yorker so i go for the New York Team onlike someone^^^^^Wxl14^^^^

Dave, if my team can't be in it at the end, why would I want to cheer on a team that means nothing to me? I wait all year to see a subway series so diehard NY fans can revel in the rest of the country being knocked out . However, in the end I want my bombers there at the podium.

ok we lost. yeah but as of now the mets havent won a thing yet. so dont brag and no i wont be cheering on the mets. Give props to the tigers. those kids throwing 103MPH. Man that is awesome. so what do we need to do?
watch
fire torre, hire pinella.
trade arod to the national league as well as sheffield to the minors
release moose and resign him for less.
trade pavano with cash
say bye bye to bernie
keep villone
sign zito and pettit
buy out wright he is all wrong.
i blame torre for the loss. you dont have a #5 or a questionable #4 to start a must win in a 5 game series when your back is against the wall.
Honestly ask youself this. did anyone truely feel comfortable with wright starting a must win game for us? no thats the coaches fault. dont make excuses for him becasue he is a new yorker or a past winner. give hima promotion to the front office.

What should Torre have done? Pitch Wong on 3 days rest?

A-rod's going no where; no-trade clause.

Pavano, who?

Absolutely! Other big-time pitchers have beaten the Yankees on 3 days rest in the playoffs. It was time one of our own does the same. Better to try and win with your best than lose with your worst. I would find it hard to believe any knowledgeable Yankee fan would 2nd guess a Wong loss over Wright who never pitches beyond 5-6 innings.

Damn Yankee fans always have an excuse. when they win the world series it's all good. you guys are just to used to wining, welcome to the mets club...
if they leave Phillups end melky and lose, he should of played shef and matsui. if he plays shef and matsui, he should of played phillups. tomatos, tamotoes. play wong on three days then pitch who. Now if he pitches wong and he loses, he should of let wright pitch. you now what. when yall figure it out please let me know what the lotto numbers are before they come out....
They JUST LOST. they can't win every year. better luck next year

David, you're making no sense. Every losing team makes excuses; not just Yankee fans. Why would a winning team need an excuse?
