Yankees sent home packing

Well it looks like the Yankees will be checking the rest of the post season from there living room. It's sad to see them go so quickly. Don't know what happened. Maybe they took them too lightly. Maybe all the hype that Detriot was not going to win 1 game may have pissed off Detriot. Oh well it doesn't matter now. I think it sad because i can truely say that if the mets got to the WS, the yankees were going to be very difficult to beat. I was alittle concerned i can not lie. But there won't be a subway series. I personally think the problem with the Yankees is that they just have too many SUPERSTARS. when they had Posada,Tino,Soriano,Jeter,Broshas,O'neil,Bernie and the altanating left fielders, thats when they had a true championship team. Look closely. then not many superstars at all, better chemistry. Not such a big payrol. Now 200,000,000 later, lots of superstars. Not many rings.. Hopefully next year you guys will have a better year.

P.S,

Feel free to come cheer the Mets on, you guys are all welcome

I am highly upset at the yankees. An hopefully the ax comes down and people start getting fired. Including Joe torre. But I would love to cheer for the METS but after watching Detriot and how bad they want it. I will have to cheer for them.

why should people get fired? They played, they got beat. So F'ing what. teams have bad days, and bad series.

Whaaaaaaaaa.

Does that mean the Spankees should give the Detroit Pitching staff a raise? They were only kept scoreless for what, 20 innings?

*OUCH*

I am a Yankee fan, first and foremost. Then I become a baseball fan. Knowing that, I have to root for someone. I then become a NY fan. I rooted for the Mets in '86 (primarily because of Boston). So I will root for the Mets again, but not even close to the same intensity. I bleed navy blue and white. I just want the Mets to win for NY now.
