I like them all, I want one for some clown fish to host. I saw a huge colony at aquarium adventure and it was the coolest thing..impo even cooler than anenomes. However I have heard they are really hard to care for an they avg a 6 month life in captivity. How long have you had yours?

reefguy, do some reading before you get one.
most do not live long in a tank.
I don't think it's right to keep selling them knowing this.

Clownfish hosting in coral is hit or miss, not to mention the links Jonathan provided. You may be setting yourself up for disappointment.

Gonioporas aren't the best corals to get and most do die within 3-6 month period.

If your looking for a coral that is hardy to host a clown fish you may want to look at some of the leather corals, frogspawn, torch or a bubble coral. You also need to take into account that some corals mayn't like a clown fish hosting in it and not open up.

I already have those corals but i like the goniopora. How long have you had yours for? And every clown fish i get seems to host something in my tank from my hammer to my tourch well. From what I have read before you have to feed them something called...live something
