Tank is really coming along well Oriol!! ![]() Where did you get all the new corals from? Too pooped to ID..I'm sure others will jump in. Is it just me, or is your light really high above your tank?

Kathy, the corals came from the group buy with Yourreef.com and yes, the light is high, but so far i'm getting good growth with the SPS, LPS and everything else so i decided not to move it. I have 2 Montipora that are growing pretty fast, so i guess there has to be enough light. The bottom corals, such as the hammer/frogspawn/bubble are also growing at a pretty fast rate, so i'm not moving anything for now haha. I'm happy how everything is coming along, now it's just a matter of time before the corals start growing! |

So it's been a while since the last update. I've lost the clam, one morning i found it on the sand it had fallen off the rock and it was never able to get healthy, since the foot was torn. I've only lost 1 SPS frag, not sure of the name, but i think it was placed too low on the tank and not enough light, so it just bleached. Everything else is growing at a steady pace, getting pretty good growth from all the corals and the fish are eating and healthy. I have noticed though, the Kole Tang seems to scar pretty easily, as if it seems he's hitting rocks or something, is that normal? He's not acting weird or anything, eating fine and he's not rubbing on the rocks (ich) The Tunze ATO works wonders, i love it. |
