Good start Damien. IMO you'll need a more aggressive filtration system or you're going to run into problems. If you like fish upgrade your skimmer ASAP. The coralife skimmers are not adequate for a 220.....even if you had 10 of them running...lol. I would be running 2 separate reactors for phosban and carbon as well. Filter socks are also a good idea. I like them because the remove uneaten fish food before it can break down, and particulate matter in the water column is removed giving a cleaner appearance.

Another option would be to simply do big frequent water changes

yeah ican do that but y bother, these 2 skimmers r doing my tank perfect and these other skimmers r to much money, and i have a posban i forgot to mention it . carbon never use it. only when its sightly yellow color in the tank i will use cabon and after 4 days the carbon is useless.
