Its been a long time since anybody posted on the bronx regions tanks. I personally didnt know that there so many reef keepers right in my backyard. This thread is to help inform us how many are actually around. Ive had the privelage to meet many of you already but im sure theres more. Feel free to leave your tank size (no matter how small) on this thread along with your type (fowlr, mixed reef, etc.) pics are nice also. Me personally i own a 110g aga with 30 gallon sump. This tank is a mixed reef and its really starting to come together. The tank is about 41/2" months old.

Hey guys I'm from the Bronx I'm having problems with red algie I do water change but still it's getting bigger any chemicals I can use to get rid of them

Do you use rodi water bro? Try to steer clear of all those chemicals.

How long is your tank been up?? Also try using GFO work wonders ...

rollaz welcome bro do a 50% water change and def starting using gfo/phosban and u should see a change in the growth of that algy

I'm from the bronx (throgs neck) I have a 55 with softies/lps, my brother has a 50 breeder which was going to be a mixed reef (only has kenya tree currently).....however I'm upgrading to a 150 and combining the two tanks
