I'm not sure who to say great job to? Jim/Frank you do beautiful work. I like the size too. Very convenient and nice overflow setup. Where are you drilling the overflow and return lines? What size overflow is it and what size bulkheads will you be using (read: how much flow?)?

Awesome Jim, looking forward to seeing that baby in action.

Joe, thanks - it came out awesome

Russ, - I am going to use a 1" bulkhead as the drain and it will be fed with a 3/4 line - it will also have a seio 820 inside for "the flow" - the overflow box is 4x4x13" tall - and the tank will likely hold a total volume of 13 gallons. The overflow will be in the back left corner and the front shorter side will be the viewing pane. I plan to build a tiered frag rack out of white light diffuser to keep sps's on top and lps's, zoos and clams accordingly.

Hope that answers it.

Lighting is currently a 250 AB 13k about 10" above the tank (BRIGHT), So I'll probably get the clip on 150 or something like it to cut back a little on the electric. Since it will be so close, it doesn't need to be a 250.

Good plan. Sounds perfect.

Overflow Box Plumbing

Here are sme pics of the internal overflow box and it's plumbing.

Drain is about 1" below the box teeth so there isnt a long way for the water to fall AND I am using a 1" drain with a 3/4 feed - I anticipate running about 600gph through this section as also keeping a Seio 820 in there for additional flow.

Jim, 600 gallons through a 1" overflow is just about max flow. With your drain the way you have it set up, do you think there might be a 'flushing effect'? Plumbing normally needs a vent to replace the water flowing through it with air. Just a concern you might want to think about. Might not be an issue either. Not sure though.

Looks like real nice acrylic work for sure.
Again, great job Frank.

Update - Final Pics

Russ, thanks for looking out for me - I am not getting flushing as I am only really pumping about 400gph through it - I also have a seio 820 kicking in there.

Here are some final pics and the new snazzy frag rack I made.
