What do you test your reef with?

Dont see any updated posts really, could have just missed it, but im about to get some test kits and curious what peoples experience with different brands is.

Im looking at the 50$ hanna meters for calc alk phos and ph. not sure if i should mix and matcxh those with salifert those, anyone wish they did something different when they bought their test kits?

I use Hanna checkers for Alk and Phosphate.
Red Sea for Mg and Calcium.
I also have a mix of Salifert and Elos kits as well, but prefer to use the Red Sea ones with the holder thing.

At the moment i have Salifert for calcium, alk, and mag. Elos for phosphate. API for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph.

hanna phos. (is it just me or is this thing a pos ?)

redsea pro mag ( it has a big plastic case so i haven't lost it yet.)

api alk ( these go bad pretty quick so i replace them every few months)

elos calc. - ...

You could go for a redundant setup to get the most reliable readings, should one fail. But I think they rarely do anyway.

Wow u test once a month ? What do u dose with and how do u dose it? I've seen u tank very nice! I've finaly figured out how much to dose daily now I'm trying to figure out how to dose it. I use two part.

Are they medical dosing pumps? I've been trying to get my hands one, unsuccessful so far. How r they working out for you?

I dose cal alk and mag throw a dosing pump alk 90ml and day and cal 89 ml a day and mag 13 ml a day its dosed 24 times a day in small amount keeps them very staple once you get the sweet spot like I say one a moth I test
