It's very common to see tanks over sea with a lot of fish, specially big angels, and the tanks are usually smaller than what this guy has. I posted a link, quite a while back, where a guy had even more angels, and they where even larger than the guy in the link has. Large Queens, Blue, French, Passer, Emper, Regal and a Chrysus just to name a few of the fish.

Agreed.

Also alot ot the times, water come straight from the water classets-no need to buy salt nor mixing them at all. The colors of the fish seems even brighter than the ones we can buy here.

The setups on these systems are also pretty interesting. Most have no sand and only cured pieces of corals in the tank. They run sumps with just a protein skimmer and like Wingo said water straight from the classets. The loads in these tanks are very heavy, not only the fish but the feedings.

Would really like to know the die off in these tanks as just like Cali said the price on fish is relativly cheap.

Check out this site.

The third tab from the right will take you to some of the fish tanks that people have.

In Hong Kong, they use saltwater to flushing the toilet so there is an unlimited supply of saltwater (free also). But I don't know if the quality of the water is good enough for the fish tank. It is certainly good enough to flush the sh!t down the toilet.

regal, the newer buildings in HK now uses fresh water to flush, they get unlimited water from china now. I still remember the days when all the hotels had "not drinkable water" labels on the toilet:lol2:.

I think this guy says he is in China, there are no city in China that I know of uses salt water to flush.

Not sure about corals but I think fish should be OK. When I was a kid, I kept a clown fish from fish market with those water for more than 3 years and the only food is bread. Once a while I will put watch man gobies caught at the pier and put them in there too. They survived OK.

BTW Hong Kong is now a city of China too.
