My Octo which ive had for a little over a month seems to be almost done. She laid eggs which means shes old anyway, but lately shes stayed in a curled ball in a corner of the tank, and occasionally moves when startled. She doesnt even eat ghost shrimp. Tonight a ghost shrimp walked right up to her and even walked all over. She didnt do anything. oh well

According to Richard Ross at the octo talk last frag swap, they don't live very long after they reproduce. Octos have a short life span anyway. Watch for signs of degeneration along the limbs - if she starts to decompose, it's more humane just to euthanize her.
