I have started to restock my tank after an ich outbreak and am looking into some wrasse for the tank (kind of afraid to start tangs again :shhh:) Currently have a 75 gallon reef with plenty of live rock and fine sand. Only fish are a pair of maroon clowns and a lawnmower blenny.

Here are some that I was looking at:

Christmas Wrasse - Halichoeres Claudia
Exquisite Wrasse - Irrhilabrus Exquisitus
Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse - Paracheilinus Carpenteri
Filamented Flasher Wrasse - Paracheilinus Filamentosus

The only wrasse I definitely want at the moment is the christmas wrasse. The others are only ideas and not necessarily my final choices.

From reading around, they should be pretty much reef compatible with peaceful temperments.

What do you think? Would it work? I am very bad at fish compatibility and do not like to purchase anything without knowing if it would work or not. Any other suggestions?

I'll have to think about the McCoskers and the Carpenters. There is something about a sixline that I just don't like (other than all the stories about it getting overly aggressive). I have a request in for a Christmas Wrasse so hopefully it will come in very soon. Would the order matter and can they be qt'd together (say if I order 2 different ones from live aquaria)? I have a 10 gallon that I've been using but can use the 29 if needed.
