Cone Snail: My new Buddy

I just purchased a really cool looking snail, named a Cone Snail.

I have never heard f this kind of snail, but it was so cool looking I had to have it. I was told it is reef safe by the store, so I'm sure it's all good.

How cool is that?!

Not only does it eat fish, but it actually contains the most deadly poison on earth.

lol i seen the same show on cone snails... they shoot venomous darts...supposedly stop your breathing in mins... id prolly just hire someone to get that out of your tank...good luck

Phil, you've got me confused as well. Are you aware of the dangers to humans, as well as it being non-reef safe? Or is this truly a joke?

If you haven't gotten rid of this snail yet, please be sure not to touch the snail bare handed as it has neuro toxins that can be delivered through your skin, even if it doesn't pierce your skin.

I was just foolin....i saw a show on the most toxic animals in the ocean and thought......
