Too much light for my little tank?

My tank - biocube 29 17" deep.

Duncan, some zoa and denerdo aren't really opening after change from PC light plus reef rite to AI SOL blue..

AI sol is 14" above water level.

I set 30 w 35 bl 35 ry

Should I low to 20w , 25 bl , 25 rb ?

Too much light ?

it prob is too much light ..damn leds man my stuff is so sensitive to it i got a birdnest colony recently and most of it is bleached already and my leds are only running at like 20 something %

yea I'd say thats a good start or maybe even less they have to adjust to the new light..my green slimers that were gorgeous are totally white now a lot of my pink and green birds also ..wackkkkkkk

My guess is too much light. Ever get a par reading on your pc's? If you did you can find AI readings and guage where to set it at.

no i dont have par meter reading PC.

Im guess its pretty LOW LOL!.

I ll ask around to see if someone know whats par reading PC 36w is..

I didnt have not one problem with my leds started at 15% and worked my way up , Now im at 70% whites and 100% royal blues and every thing it great.

I noticed ALL zoa has long stalk ( streching) it's like trying to reach light WTF ?

I do have net on top and it's 14" above the water line...

What should I do?

Leave it alone for few days ?

Are they all on one rock bunched up? They do that alot when there are too many on a single rock and fight each other to be on top to get the light...

No it's on frag rack and they are pretty far from each others by rocks

How much stretching? did you try just raising the rack and seeing if they shrink down?

I rather think this s a sign of high light. When I put my LEDs on my zoa garden, they open crazy like 1.5 times bigger than the old size and stretch the stalk to the max. If I were to remove the LEDs, they would be back to normal. NOTE: I am talking about adding the LEDs not replacing out some other lights.

Stalk I would say .25-1" depend on zoa/ palys

sGood idea to raise rack I'll do that later when I get home from work.
