Lighting question

Hey guys, so the question is about how to time the lights to further benefit the corals. I have 2xActinic blues, and 2x10000ks white and 4 blue LED's for moonlighting. What order should they go on in? is it actinic then actinic+whites? if so how long do i warm up with just the actinics for? Thanks.

Dan, the actinics are basically your sunrise/sunset lighting. Therefore you'd want to more or less use the following schedule, modified to your lifestyle:

noon = actinics on
1 pm = daylights on
7 pm = daylights off
8 pm = actinics off

I always recommend the start time to coincide with your personal schedule. We maintain these systems to enjoy. Therefore I like to have the lights on when I'm home. I wouldn't turn on the lights at 8 am and then go to work till 6 pm. You'd miss all the time your lights were on. I like to turn on the lights when I return home from work.
