What happened to Pace?

For those people who are interested, we have had our swap at Pace University Downtown for 4 years now.

Unfortunately, despite all of our efforts, certain administrative employees no longer wish to allow the swap in their venue.

We have filed complaints with the University as we really have gone above and beyond what we should be doing to make this event work.

If you are a Pace student or alumni, I would be glad to provide you with additional details as well as a letter you are free to send to the administration or Alumni department showing your frustration with the situation.

Right now we are examining new locations for the swap and will update the community once we find a suitable venue. We do expect the new venue to require us to increase the admission beyond the $25 per person that we have maintained for several years. We do everything we can to keep our costs down but based on average pricing for event spaces we do anticipate these increases.

you are right though about the timing of the threads I was wondering the same. I'm thinking maybe josh didn't know for sure and then 5 mins later found out they could use pratt? A bigger venue would definitely be cool but I do like pratt they have great tanks to check out there which is the big bonus.

Atlantis Marine World is an amazing place. Been there multiple times in both public and off-limit areas as part of behind the scene tours.....but for a swap, its "little" out of the way.

I am from NJ, i wish it was closer. and now with the toll increases. But that is life. I was only joking tho, it was not meant to be inconsiderate.

Why not secaucas nj they have the convention center and can be accessed by public transportation. It's 10 min from the Lincoln and probably cheaper than ny
