help me rename the "protein" skimmer

man, are we still doing this? hehhe jhale better get the flanges ready. i havent even gave you peices of my acrylic to cut yet. did you cut your flanges already?

I made one flange for aaron. it took two hours to cut through the 1/4 plexi. the laser is more than ten years old, and only 8watts. it's made for cutting through 1/8 thick plexi. we had to go over the pattern 30 times for one flange. I hate to see how long it's going to take for my 3/8" material. I'm also not in the city now. I was going to go back sat. night to make the other half for aaron. I can still make the flanges but it's going to take a while, I'm not going to be able to do them all in one day. I don't have to watch the machine while it's running, but I have to be in the bulding, in case something goes wrong.

wow hehhe, how did the cuts come out? were they clean?

they were clean enough, aaron said he buffed them up and they are perfect. the new lasers will do the same cuts in one pass. only 8,000 or so.

about the only thing we have not discussed on this thread is what everyone is having for lunch. I'm going to make a turkey wrap with pickles. anyone else?
