Not sure who ended up winning these but just wanted to give some more info on them.
The 18k DIF-30 (30w) pendant was fitted with 60 degree optics which will give you a 2'x2' footprint of useable light. This light has a higher output than a 150w halide so depending on what light you have now you might want to mount this one a little higher or shorten your photoperiod to let your corals adjust. I have other lens options in stock so if you want 45, 90, or 120 degrees we can swap them out for you no problem.
The Blue/UV DIF-30 (30w) pendant is less potent because of the blue/UV spectrum it uses so I wouldn't try to run a tank off of it on it's own. The raffled unit was fitted with the 120 degree optics for spread and should easily cover a 4'x4' area and give some really great color to corals and fish without that obnoxious fake looking LED blue color you see with lesser LEDs. If you want a tighter optic lens just let me know.
If you have any other questions about the units please feel free to ask me. I'll also personally handle any warranty issues you may have in the future (not that we've had any problems with the DIF units but you never know).
