Nice job capturing the 'feel' of the event. All smiles, happy, enjoying, reefers. That was the tone of the whole day.

Your lens does add 10 lbs though. I see you got some pix of the big fat porker from Saltwater Critters. :banghead: I keep trying to convince myself that it's not THAT bad.....and then I see pictures. :sad2:

As an old (in every sense of that word! dammit) semi-pro film photographer, who never did make the leap to a pro-digital camera, I have to say this community is blessed with two photographic superstars: Steve and Marcin.

There's a big difference between close-up (macro, if you will) shots of corals, and photojournalistic shots of an event such as our swap meet, requiring very different skills. But these guys can do it all, bless them!

My all time favorite photographer is Henri Cartier-Bresson, who practically invented photojournalism, and coined the term: "The Decisive Moment." Steve and Marcin are our very own masters of "The Decisive Moment!"
