Help me choose my reefkeeper

Hi guys.. During this group buy i will be buying a reefkeeper. The thing is there is a couple to choose from and I'm really not sure of the differences. I'm sure i'm going with the elite. I don't want to buy then expand. Just want it all in one shot. Some have controllers some have net ,And some have both. Please LMK which is the best route.

I don't own one yet but Ive been doing some research. I was going to buy an reefkeeper but from what I gather and read people like the Neptune apex much better. I would check that one out to. Its cheaper and has a few more perks. Like built in net.

OK thanks. I know someone that has the Neptune that also said he like it. It just seems RK is very popular among the Mr crowd.

What made you switch. I was checking out the apex didn't seem cheaper in price as stated above. I was looking at the RK elite with net.

I had the RKE and ripped it all out and switched to Apex. Apex is a far superior product.

I flooded my apt 2 times and o needed more advance controller with easy access thru my phone or other computer while I am at work or simply a way from home and get text,email alerts,shut down outlets with you phone anytime you want. Buy most nice think about this is you can set up every outlet,name outlets with you computer.

I have been reading a bunch or reviews on the RK. I Can't believe how bad it sounds customer service is. Also they don't even bother putting directions in with the unit. Not to mention what you guys are saying so far. Leaning towards apex . Again they have couple different models. What should I be looking for.

I never used RK customer service,but I will give 5 star for Apex customer service!!!!
they do have different models,it's you choice depend on what you want to do.

I have an RKL and I never needed customer service in trying to get anything to work.
The RK is very self explanatory if you know how to pick up a tv remote and play with buttons.
If I had to do it again... I would have gotten the RKL+ just to have 8 outlets. I have no need for a net module... or anything else like that. I keep it simple.

Thanks for the info. I have heard alot of good things about apex tho, and a few bad about RK. Leaning real hard towards apex.
