Hi jerl I tried similar product when my po4 was high ! Didn't see any positive or negative effects if I where u I'd give the vinegar some time to do it's job also give prodibo some consideration the combo really helped my tank!,

I bought some from tito gotham aquatics when I had a phos issue in my nano and it worked really well. I don't really test anymore but I do throw some in every now and then and it keeps the tank good.
