Dried up Live Rock okay to dump in tank?

Hey guys, have some live rock that was full of aiptasia & majanos which i left out in my garage for a month. I'm assuming everything is dead. I just took the rock out and dumped it in a bucket of ro water.

Do you think it would be okay to dump this live rock in my sump? I want to use it to creat rock piles for pods. Or do i need to cycle it first with a skimmer in a seperate tank?

how many LBS are you talking about ,and siz of your tank

BUt to be on the safe side ,i say cure it

About a pound only, 72 gallons. I'm thinking it should be okay. But wanted to ask.

even a pound of rock still has dead stuff in it.... i would def. do it if this was previously live rock... gonna have alot of dead stuff inside.... as ronen said cure it 1st then you can place it in the tank...

no worries ,put it the sump ,I was thinking about 20 lbs or so ,lol

one month ,i think you kill everything on the rock ,it was dry all month ,so no pro ,
unless it was moist

ronen i always like to be sure wat goes in my tank thats why i posted that.... better safe then sorry no matter how big the rock is... just my thoughts thats all...
