So my wife was making me some RO/DI water for my top off water, I got a call at work that my 2 year old son got some drops of milk in the container:banghead:, I use a 5 gallon Dear Park, container for my top off water, is it ok to use the water or not? :irked:

I would have used it anyway only because the amount of water wasted to make it. A few drops dilluted in 5 gallons would have neglible effect. Again, its your tanks. Just think it already has added calcium.

milk!......it does a body good! my dumbass wouldv'e used it. the fish may like it and the tank can always use calcium. or i wouldv'e tried to feed em cheese

This happened to me previously and had no ill effects. As noted, yeah it's only 5 gallons but only took how many gallons of fresh water to make it?

Thats all good with everyone saying they would use it but is that water that can possibly kill your tank and inhabitants worth everything invested i say hell no. But everyone can make stupid choices....
