Drops of milk in my RO/DI water.

So my wife was making me some RO/DI water for my top off water, I got a call at work that my 2 year old son got some drops of milk in the container:banghead:, I use a 5 gallon Dear Park, container for my top off water, is it ok to use the water or not? :irked:

i agree and set it up away from the young one. (out of his reach) next thing you know you will have pennys, cars, snots, ect. in that jug

Funny thing the other day i make my 10 gallon salt mix and my lil girl put cheese in it..lol so of course i dumped it and made a new batch.. Kids got to love em ..

I would have used it anyway only because the amount of water wasted to make it. A few drops dilluted in 5 gallons would have neglible effect. Again, its your tanks. Just think it already has added calcium.

This happened to me previously and had no ill effects. As noted, yeah it's only 5 gallons but only took how many gallons of fresh water to make it?

I woulda used it. I just keep thinking there is actual sh*t in my tank. Like dog poop. Only smaller.

Well if you make ro/di to a 4:1 ratio then you probably threw away about 45gal of water for just a little bit of milk. I would have used it..

Thats all good with everyone saying they would use it but is that water that can possibly kill your tank and inhabitants worth everything invested i say hell no. But everyone can make stupid choices....
