I got your back Josh... :)

Thirty,

After checking out your cleaner shrimp dance around in front of the camera a bit, I was wondering if you wanted to try linking your camera into the signature/controller system.

The last tab in the My Tank / Reefs.me system allows you to put a photo from your webcam into the image in your sig as well. It isn't real time, but it will update the image every few minutes.

Let me know if you need help setting it up.

Do I need to upload to an FTP first? Or can we set it to just pull an Image from the camera itself. May not work for me direct from the camera. It fails when I save the settings. This is not an IP camera, it is running with software. I may have to have the software upload images first and then have MR pull them. I will give it a shot

thirty5,
The data in from my feed stopped yesterday evening? and I just tested the configuration, and this message came up:

Unknow feed structure detected - Array ( [head] => Array ( [script] => Array ( [0] => Array ( [language] => JavaScript [src] => js/object.js [value] => ) [1] => Array ( [language] => JavaScript [src] => js/xml.js [value] => ) [2] => Array ( [language] => JavaScript [src] => js/public.js [value] => ) [3] => Array ( [language] => JavaScript [value] => load_lang_obj(); ) ) ) [body] => Array ( [script] => lang_obj.write('OTHE07'); ) )

I have ever seen this before. Do you have any idea what it means?

OK I think I solved the problem.
For some reason - my IP address on the net module changed ?
I updated it, and the feed seems to be working now (I hope)

Jim C.

Yes, it is much easier to set the module to static IP, like if your IP was originally 192.168.1.5, you can make it 192.168.1.200 (that is a safe number above where you might have a conflict).

Then on your router set the port forwarding to the new IP address and it will never change on you.

Every now and then I need to reset my network controller on the Apex, but it just takes two button clicks.

I still can't get it to work either. I have entered my ip/rss.sht with my port and login info and get 'Unknow feed structure detected - Array ( )' I sent Josh a message several months ago but never did hear back.

Hi Josh,
Thanks for fixing, was it something I had done, or was it on the MR side?
Reason, if it is something that I can correct, I'd rather learn what to do v.s. bother you, and leave your time for bigger issues :)

Jim
