It also has other stars. maybe the star you dont like. The asterina. If you dont want let me know so i can toss. Can i keep the good guys that came with cheato> Or can they infect my tank?

Getting another ball of cheato with life is not hard, why bother with so much work, dump the ones you, clean the HOB fuge with hot water thoroughly twice, most living organism will die or washed away including eggs. Certain cryts are different story but not what you concern about so far..

Once the life in the new cheato stablize in the new environment, they will flourish.

I dumped it all. Lost everything. Cleaned fuge with hot tap water then cold then vinegar bath than rinse with cold again. Now going to let dry. Will use again tomorrow. Thanks guys for all your help. Now if someone has cheato with good life in it let me knoooow!
