in your low nutriant system it will probably help, but so will AAs or any other small partical foods...in my tank I didn't notice any difference. I can't justify that added expense because I have alot of anthias and feed many other small partical foods..like Ova, cyclo-peeze etc...

Oyster Feast is designed to feed SPS. LPS will still detect it in the water and it can trigger a feeding response in them but most of the species we call LPS wouldn't be able to capture the tiny particles.

For SPS and other filter feeders in that micron range you could also try Reef Pearls (5-200 microns) from Reef Interests. I've been using it and really like it so far.
