I have my mysis defrosting and noticed i needed to top off my system. My fish came right me suspecting food and I didn't realize. As soon as i put some RO in my larger ruby headed fairy raise went soaring across the room! Thankfully I was right there to and able to put him right back in the tank. After a few minutes of hiding he is back up and eating his lunch.

Lesson learned: If they're expecting food, don't give them RO water. :knockedou:banghead:

Maybe temperature or osmotic shock freaked him out?

I have a DIY screen on it but I had taken it off feeding. He didn't go into shock or anything and is totally fine now he just gets spooked easily. I think also the fact that they were expecting food but got RO and the combination of the splashing. I'm just happy I was there when it happened.
