yeah peppermint is hit or miss.....i just got new LR and have quite some majano and aiptasia.....need to get rid of asap. i was planning on picking up a syringe and injecting them with lemon juice or hydrogen peroxide. complete noob at this so if anybody wants to help feel free to come to chinatown!

I didn't try no lemon juice when I had them on my acan frag I just used a lime and squeezed the juice in a separate cup and took out the frag and used a syringe with out the needle and it worked. But if you are able to take out the rocks you bought and do them one at a time then try with the lime juice. I don't know if the lime juice will affect any of your parameters inside the tank that's why I took out the frag so per vent any parameters changing in my tank. IMO I would do everything in a separate container when using the lime juice.

I wasn't sure what a Majanos was so i googled it found this ......

How they were removed. My system was to boil some RO water (rather than tap water), and suck this up into a syringe. Injecting each majano with boiling water allowed me to scrape them off one by one with a dental tool. Some were siphoned out with thin flexible tubing. In the meantime, a product called "Joe's Juice" promises to kill majanos without detriment to the reef. I've not tried it myself since these are no longer in my tanks.

Beware boiling RODI water or Distilled. Do NOT do this in the Microwave.
It will not boil, rathere get extermely hot----beyond 212 degrees and once moved, surface tension will break and water will explode on you.
This may not happen every time but if the vessel you use is clean enough, it will.
