Phosphate Meter

What phosphate meter Is everyone using? I been using a HANNA checker and red sea Pro,i feel like i am not getting acc. results, let me know what your using and what works best..thanks......

I use elos for po4 it show 0 had a friend test it with Hanna checker and that was 0.1 so yeah I think its close enough plus I keep a mix reef so to clean is not good ether .

I use the Hanna but test very seldom with it. I just change GFO every 4 weeks.

I just bought a hana low range tester
I had been testing with Salifert kits, and for the most part had undetectable results.
When I tested with the hana, I received a 0.19 reading looks as if I have some work to do...

Yep I don't trust mine much either, it seems pretty inconsistent, and can vary depending on if theres even a smudge on the vial. I rather just look at how fast the algae builds on my glass.

yea i ran it over and over one day.. not consistent enough for my taste. If you just want to know if you have po3 its fine.. when the number is 1.4 you can bet you do. but if you trying to get 0.00 and are constantly at low numbers. pfft

don't try to make sense of the variation just keep doing what you are doing. cause its prolly just variance ?0.04 ppm ?4% of reading accuracy as advertised. I bet its more than double that if you factor in non laboratory environment. ime +/- .15 or so
