The last two days i have dose 30ml of iron in my tank. Just tested my tank for Iron and it reads Zero. Its a simple test to do. So i keep dosing?

be careful my red sea iron test kit went bad in just a couple of days. To me that sounds like alot of iron.

how does a test kit goes bad?

Test reagents can be sensitive to anything from moisture to temperature or even light. If you handle or store the kit improperly it can become compromised pretty quickly. Some kits are also a lot more sensitive than others.

Iron) is one of the fastest elements to be consumed by a vast variety of
creatures.
It is involved in a few processes and can change states depending on the
bioload.
Please test your Iron 30-60min after you supplement, the kit will allow you
to avoid overdose.
It should read 0.05-0.15ppm within this timeframe.
The more bioload you have the less the reading would be.

Oh is that what the manufacturer said? Why would they ever lie or exaggerate?

Like they said above. You have an hour to test for overdose. Dosen'tmeasure current level. It will always read 0.

So that you waste money on it like I did.

yup waste of money. Pretty much dose once a week of iron 15ml just to get some type of iron in your tank.

I was looking at the red sea color program! Heard good things ! I know for fact that the new red sea po4 product works!! Worth 20$ for sure!!

Prob is all their stuff needs to be dosed separate. Unlike fauna Marin with you can add to the ballin salts.
