my quietone 6000 stopped working. any1 have experienced this after only 2 months? what can i do?

1st off try to buy a used pump with the same size output so u can hook it up right away. this can be used as a back up afterwards. call up the manufacturer and they should replace that one for you...

Did you open it up, check the impeller & clean it out?

I used a couple for about 1 1/2 years. No problems
If you are in a bind, I have an extra mag 18 you could borrow. I keep it on hand for just such emergencies.

Thanks for the advice n offer. Glad i can count on MR members to help:biggrin:
My pump started back up again. It must've overheated n shut itself off.
lucky my sump can handle the backflow.lol
I just need to find a way of making sure the pump don't overheat again.

i would strongly suggest purchasing a back up just in case... the backup dont have to be new as long as it works...
