The tank is covered with glass tanks and egg crate with fiberglass screen so it will be fine. it only 3 inches and only gets to be a few inches bigger and he can be kept in a 29 for his whole life if i wanted, but in a year or so i will have a 120. i bought him at absolutely fish and he was expensive lets leave it at that incase my wife reads this.

Gotcha:) It probably originates from Twilightaquatics.net RD

drunkfish13: I was wondering if you bought it from Twilightaquatics but since you mentioned Absolute, i can only imagine how much you paid :(
But its an awesome fish and well worth the price :)

also that is a different fish. they are a few variations all named the same for now. this is a new one which will be named seprately soon.

Its not new, the one pictured is a bodainus masudai, yours is the opercularis. They've been around in the hobby, just very rare. Just like the Sunset Hog on Twilightaquatics website.

Is this the one that was listed on a Hawaii fish catching web site? Where they were going to name it later? If that the case I don't think they could possible know what size it's going to max out at. Also all these type of hog get to be a certain size and for that matter get darkier in color and the Juv look a lot better.

acutally read Twilightaquatics website the cf in the name is because it is different then the opercularis it is orange instead of read and he says it is a new variation.
