Just running the RO, I get between 2 and 4. When I pass the water through the DI portion, I get 0. Tapwater where I am is in the 40s, so I would think that something's not working properly in your system.

Do you let your unit run before you take your readings? Try running it for five min. or so than take your readings and see if they are any better. You have to get the water that is traped in the system out and the new water through to test it. Hope this helps. I just changed my filters and have readings of 0-1,with my unfiltered tap reading about 420.....

I change my filters as soon as my reading goes from zero to one.
If you're running your tap through RO/DI it should exit at zero.

Tim is absolutely right. Before I let any of my processed water go into my collection tub, I flush the filters for about 5 - 10 minutes. After that I still don't collect any water until the reading comes down to zero. Works great for me. Others might accept higher readings, I don't.

I get a reading of about 2 or 3 after it goes through the RODI. With out the filter I get a rading of about 37 to 40. I had no idea it was possible to go as low as 0. 900 is just insane!! :bigeyes2:

Interesting. I wonder if there is anything I can do to get it down to zero. My RODI is almost new running for about a week at most. I did all that was asked of me in terms of flushing the system and tossing the first 5 gallons.
