If it keeps moving I would get him out before it kills any of your other nice corals. But it may just stay in its new location. Give it a day or two.

Newly split ones will often stay where they are for at least a few days before emerging. I would leave it alone until it decides to start moving, then see where it goes and if you can live with it's choice. If it picks a problem area then re-home it.

Yo bro I had a mag anemone rib cuz it decided to take a walk around my tank after a while of being in the same spot. It stug a few of my corals be before it made its way up to the top of my tank right by the return spout and got ripped by the force of the return. Lucky for me I was on my way home and took it out and did a 30 gal water change right way and ran some fresh carbon. I wouldn't do another 1 again . I do have 2 orange bubble tips but they are in the same spot since I got them and never moved... Just letting u know what happen to me.. IMO . I would trade it for some other corals .
