Hey Guys,

I am on the move and upgrading to 120g, but my 20g nano (at my parents house) getting hot fast. lights are off, only 2 mj 900, room temp is under 85. I do have an iceprobe running but it's not doing anything. :( I dont want to invest on a chillar for 20 nano as I am upgrade to 120g next month.

Is there any place where I can rent a chiller for a month or so?

I second the fans. That was my only chiller before my actual chiller and it worked great except for the added humidity in the room as well as evaporation. If its just temporary you'll be fine. Believe me it works.

Thanks guys, but my parents living room has huge sun roof that gets sun all day long. As a result the temp gets pretty hight. To make matters worse they dont have ac on that room :(. I bought one iceprobe but it's not cooling enough. I am traveling and moving. so cannt take care of them for a month. Do you think another iceprobe will help cool the tank?

Don't waste your money on the iceprobe, I have one in my tank and it doesn't to anything so far. I think brand new Iceprobe is about $100. Instead get a real chiller. 1/10 hp chiller goes for around $330, well with shipping it will be around $400. I think JBJ is coming out with 1/15 hp chiller around July, that's around $260ish. Current USA is coming out with 1/15 hp chiller for $300 sometime in June. Or you can buy used chiller in local, save tons of money for shipping.

Since you are traveling and moving, it will be hard to maintain your tank with just fan.

Goodluck.
