One day i walked in and saw a coral i wanted to buy and jokinly asked if he could give me a discount. He immediate said "f--king chinese people always want a discount". I couldn't believe he said that and just laughed it off and left.

Just don't go there when the owner is there. He's usually off on Sunday or Monday. You can get some better deals when he not there.

I'm curious like noodles, who is the owner anyways so I can avoid him (descrption, no names needed). Don't want to put him on the spot but would like to know who he is (if the mods. allow). I've only seen about 3 workers in the store at any given time.

Its a real shame because they could be a really great fish store if only he straighten up his act.

He is the indian fellow, believe his name is Serashin (spelling?). He was parnters with another indian guy when they were located on 8th street but i heard they had a falling out, wonder why!

Like Michael say, best to go there when he's not. Normally i don't take comments like that very well, but he really shocked me that day so i was speechless.
