Smallest tank for pair of clowns??

I want to get a pair of clowns for my desk at work but I want it as small as possible.

What is your opinion on the smallest? What size?

What about a nice 7G rimless cube tank from Mr.Aqua or just sent a pm to Jeff to make you a custom tank for your desk at work. It isnt a bad idea buddy hope that works for you =)

i have a 12x12x12 cube, I got the smallest clowns possible and they lived in the tank for close to almost 2 years. [one carpet surfed and was replaced] I decided to give them away to a larger tank because they seemed to start changing their behavior. They got a long for the longest time, then the female started chasing and ripping at the male... and they even viciously attacked me.

In my opinion, i would go with ATLEAST a 12x12x12 and go for tiny clowns

Nope a 30G is the smallest for clowns especially if there going to be in the same tank together....but I hope he doesn't plan to keep in there before they reach 2 inches lol :smash:

I think the one we have in office is too small for a pair, we can always go bigger! Cube tank would be decent and be deceptively bigger than some people will think

We can maybe fit it in front of my desk next to cabinet, he may not see it...

12"x12"x12" cube is 1728 cubic inches. 7.48 gallons, considering leaving a lil space at the top, that's 7 gallons. why not a biocube8 or some such comparable aio?

my bosses are awesome. They asked me to set one up for the office but I'm not spending my dime for it. I would personally go with a 10gallon or a bc14~ since it's small and compact.
