You know what you can try? Hot lemon juice. I just tried it after a friend suggested it. It's harmless to your tank. The good thing about it is when you spray the juice into the aiptasia they shrivel and fall off whatever they were holding onto, even in my overflow. Not necessary but I did a water change bc all the dead aiptasia on the sand bed after, not bc of the lemon juice. But just to be safe couldn't hurt lol. Good luck

I just used 2 Caribbean peppermint shrimp to annialate 9 aptasia (that I could see). Apparently, only the Caribbean peppermints eat aptasia. From what I hear and have read, the indo peppermints won't eat aptasia but are more apt to pic at your corals. Like I said, 2 wiped out a small infestation in my 140g. It took about 2 weeks. The first few days I starved the tank of food to encourage them to feed. AND FEED THEY DID! Its been about 2 weeks aptasia free, now I'm just keeping the tank well fed and keeping an eye on my corals. Just my exp. GL.

Like i said, been keeping an eye on my corals and I'm noticing some palys and zoas that look like they've been picked at. Sooo, time to trap some shrimps! I guess in my case, they did the job intended but, nobody picked at any corals until they arrived. JOB WELL DONE SHRIMPS! But now into the fuge they go.
