I think you should add 5 more fish for total of 50. So that each fish have equal 3 gallons each. If your really crazy put 75 for total of 2 gallon for each fish. You are out of control with those fish time for a other or bigger tank......:fishhit:

Lol its alot of fish for a 150 but at the same time if you see that tank in person and check the levels its doing 10 times better than alot of people ive seen with (for example) 2 fish in a 90.

jackson6745 there is not schedule to my water change it when i get around to it between 3 and 5 weeks i get one in there i do between 25 and 50 gallons depending on how long was the last one ... i change out my gfo and carbon once a month .. i dose essentail element and iodide once week and my doser do ca/mag/alk on twice a day scedule ....skimmer never turned of ever ... this is what i been doing and it works for me its my system and i know how work it
cmantis thank u bro for telling me i didnt know i was crazy lol and i am not worring about getting to under 45 i gave up on trying to catch that negro ...that fish is no walk in the park to catch so i just leave him be but in fact i might top out at 50 fish lol

piran i might just do a 100 its my tank and my money so u know the saying lol ....
fishman if i own the house i live in i would turn my living room into a fish tank so instead of looking at the fish i could just drink beers with them but since moving is always a option i think ill stay with the 150 for now i was looking at a 250 not too long ago but the idea of demo half my apt to get it up and running and then one having to to move just dont seems like a good idea to me

My 155 has 5 tangs (Yellow, Hippo, Sailfin, Powder Blue, Purple), a Majestic angelfish, a Flame angelfish, Niger trigger, Marine Betta, Mystery wrasse, 4 Line wrasse, Possum wrasse, Bengaii cardinal, Snowflake clownfish. Plan on adding a few more smallish fish.
I do have corals, and so far all is good. SPS are growing, and do have color. LPS, zoa, leathers, goni & alveopora are all growing. Oh, and my 5 year old maxi clam is also doing just fine.

Dubs, I had 30+ fish in an old 120gal. I ran GFO, had a big beckett skimmer that blows away energy efficent skimmers today, and did bi-monthly 30 gallon water changes. Everything ran ok for a while until the system just backed up with nutrients. I lost many SPS and had annoying cyano for months.
With that many fish and a DSB your tank is a ticking time bomb IMO. The amount of organics storing in your rock and DSB will lead to a system crash. IMO you should start getting very aggressive with your water changes now, before anything goes downhill.

ok on a serious note i think i know what i am doing let see here now tank been up since jan 24 tested once see how my levels were no more testing / have not killed any corals and i have a tank full of them / have had one jumper a pencil wrasse and 3 death a copper band that my yellow tang killed and 2 blonde naso that just didnt wanna eat /had a aptasia battle which i am finally winning after alot fail animals the nudi are working all my fish get along i have 4 large fish and a bunch small ones in my i tank have alot open space for them to swim so all u guy with ur 120 with 4 fish (am keeping my bio load down) and cant keep xenia and gsp alive need to step ur reffing game up

jackson6745 for the advise but i have nice filtration system that i moded and build to my own liking ill go out on a limb and even up my water changes to bi montly and i think will still have sucess with reefing and yes i have a few sps growing out ... there is more than one way to skin the cat so dubs will alway try the other way
awi thanks i am not going to lie ur tank kinda gave some insight on what i wanted to do that day i came over and i saw a tank full of fish and corals i was like owe man i got o get a tank looking like that some day and that day came 3 or 4 months ago lol and to be honest i found it very sexy ( not in no perverted way guys get ur mind out the gutter ) but a reefer chick with a explosive large tank and i know some bums with there 40 breeder with nothing in it i have to get my game up
