Does anyone have 1 or more of these in a 90 or larger reef with sps shrimps and clams. I'm getting mix feedbacks if they are a good addition. I would like to add 3 to 5 if possible.
I had one and a citron as well, yellow became anemone food somehow but citron is good, All I have is shrimp in your list tho, my lighting is not good enough for SPS or clams. I have a small frag of Monti digi no prob with it yet.
don't do it.
I had one. it was not the sitting on the coral that hurt the coral, it was the nipping of the coral polyps. one was bad enough, five would be a nightmare in a tank with acropora. it was too bad, they are really cute fish.
I have two clown gobies in my 75, a green one and a wierd little one I got as a hitchhiker, and neither one has been a problem with my SPS. They pick pods off the glass and go nuts for cyclopeze.
I think they are hit and miss - and all owners should decide (like always) if they want to take a chance. Most articles I see says the SPS will grow back and not die off, but that's a chance the aquarists must decide for themselves.
