would an mp10 give me any wave action in a 75 gallon tank? i dont have the money to drop on a mp40 i have all koralias in my tank and i feel like the flow is pretty harsh and i think thats why my sps dont grow as fast as others. i really want the wave action that i see in everyone elses tank.

I read that running the pumps on full blast causes adde stress on a certain plastic shaft? So I'm gonna assume that running an mp10 on full blast wouldnt be a good idea...save for an mp40!! Think of that awesome wave action you'd finally have by passing up an mp10 for a few months!

if the 75 comes with 1/2'' glass. you cant use a mp10 properly

there is a noticeable noise difference when maxing out the 10 as well

I would go w/ two MP10w ES for 75g rather than 1 mp40 - That's what I used to have on my 75g.

You can go with whatever you want. People will call me crazy but i have 3 mp10 and 1 mp40 on a 50 gal. I need it the way my rock work is and surprisingly it isnt overkill, some would say otherwise

is finding 2 mp10's for 400$ a possible thing or most likely not. i think that would make more sense to have them synced as appose to having one mp40 on one wall.

I have two mp40s on my 65...everything I read said that the mp10s would be loud and maxed out...i run them low, they are soo quiet andfencer have to worry about flow. I also figured that they would higher reuse or resale value.

I think I'd still like a 10 for the back wall

It hurts the pocket but it looks and feels(like its doing a great job) once its on the tank. You dont realize how much room is taken up by your korallias
