Bio pellets worth it or not ?!

Hi I have a zero edge 22 zr I already have a two Lil fishes reactor kwc but I here a lot of talk about bio pellets ... Before I invest more $ one another reactor I want to here some feed back on people who have one and which is the best name brand pellets to use ... I have see no improvement with My other
reactor I still get brown slime in my glass ... Not a lot but I thought this would fix the problem guess not ... Smh

Did more damage than good, lost colonies the very next day and I used a 1/4 amount.

You hear very mixed results. Some people love them and others have had disasters. Still others have seen little effect. It is hard to think of another reef keeping methodology with such varied results.

I used it for four months and started to get cyano and glass had a heavy build up than normal. You still have to run GFO with pellets and when I got rid of pellets cyano went away and did notice that it was more design to help nitrates than Phoshates. My opinion just another think to buy that didn't help much. Waste of reactor and another pump to run....better results with GFO and carbon...

I should have followed my own advice, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Started with Vertex, NPX then ecoBak. Switched over to NP Biopellets XL about a month ago... so far so good, undetectable nitrates. Phosphates is a different story. Let this serve as my own personal experience and not a recommendation.
