Hi just wondering if any body used this purigen ... It's by seachem it's filtration

I use it in my nano it works good I notice my skimmer pulls more when I remove it for a week so it must be doing its job.

Ive used it on tanks i didnt or couldnt put a protein skimmer on. Its a very useful regeneratable resin that removes organics much like a protein skimmer does. That would probably explain why the skimmer is more active when you remove the purigen. The purigen is doing some of the work for the skimmer.
I stand by a lot of seachem products and this is one of them. You can buy like the big bottle maybe 500ml (i think) and get some of the solvent that regenerates it (bleach perhaps, if not i think some heavy acid, i dont have the box in front of me) and it should last you forever if you keep regenerating it when it turns dark brown.
IMO great stuff.

Good stuff I use it in my SW and FW setups. I usually recharge it about every 2 months just soak it in a mix of water and pure bleach for 12 hours, rinse well, then soak it in water super heavily dosed with Prime for a few more hours rinse again and reuse. I have some thats a few years old still works great.
