Just wondering if there is anyone on this board who repairs or services computers. I am in need of two of the 'D' type sockets. Like the ones you plug the power cord for your computer into.
I was kind of hoping that someone out there who pulls apart computers for a living might be able to get me a couple or tell me where i might buy them.
I'm also looking for a small 2" computer fan.
Anyone out there who can help me?

Radio shack has 9 and -I think- 25 pin D connectors. They might have small fans as well.

I order a lot of surplus parts from www.allelectronics.com I just bought a Pentium 3 heatsinc and fan for $2.50 (I got two so if I muck one up I have a backup.

Depending on what you're going to use the fan for, you might just order it. I ordered my canopy fans from www.newegg.com They have the amperage, the cfm, and the dB level on each fan listed. Last time I got some they were $4 with $2.99 shipping, so they were cheaper than radioshack, and quieter. The bad thing is you have to wait a couple of days.
