I have a 150 gallon tank with 48 X 24 X 30 high dimensions and it makes finding LED lighting tough.
Most units I see are long rectangular shaped and this would not help considering the center brace in my tank separates the lighting into two 24" square openings similar to a 120 tank.
To light the entire tank with conventionally shaped lights I would need to buy up to four units with the lights in the front lensed to reach the sand at 30" and the lights in the back not lensed so it will not burn any coral placed on top of the rock work.

I was running 1w LEDs from my 75 that were fantastic but I needed more power. I found the Nova A6 3w 180w 90 degree dimable LEDs online from the Reef Central post and ended up getting two.
They cover the largest two dimensional area I found online at 15 3/4 X 11 1/4. I found a place in VA that honors the manufacturer warranty locally, but all the components I hear are easily worked on. So replacing lenses should be simple.

I installed them on Sunday, when I finally had power restored from Sandy. Here are a couple of pictures from the installation I came up with.

Enjoy,

I lost power from the storm for almost two weeks and it affected my tank. The lighting schedule is returning for the first time in a while so I did not want an affected tank to be reflective of the lighting.
Ill try and put some up soon.

The dimmer knobs are on the back of the unit. They turn to change the intensity of the light. With my A6 at 3/4 power you cannot see into the light at all. My prior LEDs you could, even my previous TEK 6 bulb unit you could by squinting. These no way.
I have the standard colors and I am happy with the range. On each dimmer there are mostly one color with a few of the other to add a different range instead of all white one one and all blue on the other. 90 degree optics are standard but I think they will offer 60 on request.
I went through John at Chester Aquaria after seeing the responses on RC and talking to him I felt comfortable. He ended up drop shipping direct at no added expense. I also went with a domestic supplier so I would not be charged customs which I got stuck with on a prior purchase with another vendor.
Chester Aquaria also handles the warranty so there is an advantage.

PM me Ill send the contact info if you want.

Took a couple pics after the lights have been up for a couple days.
Still playing with the colors and both settings are at about 50%
