I have a 150 gallon tank with 48 X 24 X 30 high dimensions and it makes finding LED lighting tough.
Most units I see are long rectangular shaped and this would not help considering the center brace in my tank separates the lighting into two 24" square openings similar to a 120 tank.
To light the entire tank with conventionally shaped lights I would need to buy up to four units with the lights in the front lensed to reach the sand at 30" and the lights in the back not lensed so it will not burn any coral placed on top of the rock work.
I was running 1w LEDs from my 75 that were fantastic but I needed more power. I found the Nova A6 3w 180w 90 degree dimable LEDs online from the Reef Central post and ended up getting two.
They cover the largest two dimensional area I found online at 15 3/4 X 11 1/4. I found a place in VA that honors the manufacturer warranty locally, but all the components I hear are easily worked on. So replacing lenses should be simple.
I installed them on Sunday, when I finally had power restored from Sandy. Here are a couple of pictures from the installation I came up with.
Enjoy,
