Yea u did buddy and to be honest ur tank is one if the few I like with led maybe its all the goodies u got in it and not the lights and on top of it I don't remember u telling me dubs u need to get ur hand on some led

Hey Dubs, I'm still in the stone age too. I run 2-MH250s & 2-96 wt CFs on my 120 and couldn't be happier. I'm going to run them until they conk out & then I'll probably switch over to LED's.

been running halides probably longer than most here...I just try different bulbs and actinics suppliments...using Radiums and T5s now

Kool I have same feeling as some of u fellow reefer am running 2x250 ushio14k and 8t5 and the growth I get is unmatched plus I like the bulb combo how they look with the shimmer ill be running this untill they stop growing my corals

Recently switched to Radions after nearly 2 decades of MH use. So far I am happy, though I don't know if I would call it an upgrade aesthetically. The tank looks good, different, but good and the corals seem perfectly happy with good growth and normal coloration. I got a really great deal on the lights ( I've known the Eco Tech guys personally for ages) and honestly, if I had to pay regular price, I never would have switched.

I'll let this play out for a year or so and then reevaluate. I'm not getting rid of my MH equipment just in case I change my mind

imo, 300dd (with sticks) is going to need more than just 2x250w radiums. i have 200dd and i got 2x400w radiums with full size lumabrites+2x110w vho's+36w supplemental led's. and you're gonna need a chiller.... at least 1/2 hp, just my 2 cents.

running 2x150k's combo with 96 watt actinics since day 1 with no problems. But I want to eventually upgrade to led's to save on electric bill.

Still running hqi's myself...everyone I know says to switch to led's ...just not sure,money is tight and I haven't found a reliable unit for a reasonable price or I probably would make the switch.

I just changed out one of the bulbs at its 8 month mark.
Hoping to keep the colors on my new SPS.

One of them is starting to brown out.

I kind of wish my AI sol has more and better colors, but I'm okay with that..

I bought rainbow acan it has sick colors in my friends tank with T5 and then in my tank it slowed turn "normal colors"

Just wish they have a t5 in 20" for my biocube 29

If I'm getting big tank I will get ati t5 for sure...
