Which aquascape do you prefer?

Hey guys, I wanted to get some opinions on whether I should go back to an old design or leave my current aquascaping as is. I have picture below to compare now and then but to get a fair opinion I ask that you only look at the rock structure rather than the livestock on it. Please let me know what you think, suggestions outside either choice are also welcome. Thanks in advance, Fortunato

I say if ur upgrading soon leave it alone in the new tank go with a bunsai or and island look. I prefer colums with wide open spaces and I try and avoid semitery to great depth. My 2 cents. This I whay I did on my new build as. Can see on my tank thread and absolutely love it. GL

Wow this is awesome! Thanks for all the input from everyone I really like to hear what everyone has to say about it, keep em coming.

So far the clear winner is the current rockwork and hopefully it's really just based on rock structure rather the beauty of the picture, because I'll say it myself, the first picture (now) is much better than the second one (then).

Joe, if I had a poll to upgrade I don't think it would take that many votes to get me going lol but unfortunately I don't know how much longer it will be till I actually pull the trigger, could be within a month, could be by the summer and there's always the unfortunate, not any time soon. Unfortunately I have other responsibilities to take care of and even though upgrading was a priority a few weeks back, I'm sad to say it no longer is (thank college/student loans for that).

I'm glad some of you are being optimistic for me to upgrade and I like the input on what I should do with the aquascape there, that bonsai look looks awesome!

Anyways, I really appreciate and thank everyone for all the input and I'm looking forward on hearing more comments.
