Where are you guys buying your super glue gel? Is there a place we can buy in bulk and save a few dollars?

Ecotech dries good but bottle tends to clog a bit, I still like good ol icygel

i use loctite super glue gel. hd has it in the bigger 10g tube for under $5.00

My thanks to all of you for responding.

I should have stated on my original post is that the small tubes that I've used they last for just a few frags. Probably because i use way too much glue.

Are there any larger sizes available? All i seem to find is the small tubes.

Does anyone also use the accelerator so it hardens faster?

My problem with larger sizes (brands other than IC Gel) is that when you only need to use it for one or two frags, even 4 or 5 frags, the larger containers of cyanoacrylate gel will harden in the applicator tip creating a mess when you want to use it the next time. Just a waste of money when this happens. Certainly if you plan to use the entire (or majority) of the larger container it would be cost effective, but most people don't use that much at one time.

I find with the larger bottles, if you cut the applicator tip further down creating a larger opening, tends not to clog as Russ described.

FYI, the Dollar Store tubes are .07 oz each. For $1 you get two and that equals .14 oz.

IC Gel is .7 oz per tube.

.7 (IC Gel) divided by .07 (Super Glue) = 10

It takes 10 of the Dollar Store tubes to equal only ONE of the IC Gel. The IC Gel costs $7. The 10 tubes you bought are $10. Where's the savings?
