Intro

Hi everyone, my name is Greg and I just joined this forum couple of days ago. Wanted to formally introduce myself and tell you about my tank. I got in to the hobby in September of last year. Started with a used, custom made corner bow-front 95G, measuring at 6.5 feet tall (canopy and stand included), live sand live rock and a protein skimmer(wasnt much of a skimmer, just a name) and t5 lighting. I saw this forum a while ago and finally decided to join. What interests me the most about this forum that it is local.

So, a little less than a month ago I upgraded to 150G Deep Blue (48x24x30), Duel overflow and drain. I was going to add some pics but for some reason I am not able to.

Equipment:
--DIY Costume made sump refugium out of acrylic (resembles the trigger system 36 long sump refugium, but bigger.
--Mag 18
--SWC 160 cone skimmer
--Ebay LED and a T5 fixture
--MP40W
--Duel GFO reactor (in mail)

Life stock:
--Gold Bar Maroon Clown
--Yellow Tang
--Sailfin Tang
--2 Coral beauty angels
--3 green chromis
--2 striped damsel
--Algae Blenny

Green Plate coral
Flower pot coral
Torch coral bunch of mushrooms
Candy cane coral
Green/Red favia
Red Zoos and Green Zoos
Green monti cap
Yellow star polyps
Green Polyps
Green anemone

I believe this is it. Now I order like 40 additional LB of LR because when I switched the tank, obviously i did not have enough. Will be currying it for about a month before adding to the display.
Will be making a DIY canopy project and a DIY LED.

I agree. However, be careful when you upload pics using photobucket. Some of them might appear upside-down on mobile devices

So far this is my tank, hopefully these pictures show up in this post. As you could see I still got lots of work ahead of me. Tomorrow will be doing my DIY canopy and will be taking pictures.

Ariel, I posted some pictures of the tank. I got it at NewIsland Aquarium located at Utica Avenue between Avenue K and Avenue L (ask for Chris, really nice guy). They gave me a good price because I bought a store membership.
